Ringwood made the trip to Landrake, a venue that regularly hosts the premier UK motocross competitions.

Walters Arena in Glenneath, Wales was the venue for the second round of the MCF sanctioned Ultra 4 European 4x4 Championship Series.  The event mainly caters for unlimited four wheel drive racers but for the first time included an open class for the Side by Sides.

Dragon Quad Racing hosted round 6 of the MCF British Quad XC Championship at the Long Compton circuit at the weekend.  The championship caters for both youth and adult classes and for the first time 2015 sees a class for Miniquads, both 50 and 90cc.

Christchurch MX ran their first event under the MCF banner at the weekend at a circuit in Maiden Newton on the outskirts of Dorchester.  The club cater for adult riders and include classes for both Twinchock and Evo groups as well as catering for the Over 45’s on modern machines.  Through the MCF

It may well be a few weeks away yet, but entries are now open for Portsmouths 2 day event at Foxhills on the 15th and 16th of August. 

It has to be said…a massive well done to those that raced with Borders and survived Duns! The track was ideal before the weekend but more rain than was forecast fell the night before, making the track rather wet.

Congratulations to AMX rider Fabian Morrison who became the latest Shaun Simpson Rider of the Meeting following an outstanding performance at the clubs 7th summer round at Ham Lane a couple of weeks ago.

With recent media reports highlighting a national lack of track racing training facilities (at all levels) in the UK, together with the MCF, Sitra and Iwades training centre are keen to make all types of track racing more readily available to all.
